Pura Vida!
Today we took a bus and a small open walled boat on a river system. We went to the town ofTortuguero where we got soaked by a torrential downpour as we walked to the ocean. It was like we just got out of the pool! Then we came to our lodge between the river and ocean, called Turtle Beach. We also went for a walk with rubber boots on because the forest floor was more like taking a brown bath {I think it was like quicksand, says Jo}. I love the turtle shaped pool. Mica has made two lovely friends, Sarah and Millie, from England and Texas.
Oh! We have to go for dinner! More tomorrow!
